Cookies

This website uses one technically necessary cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language preference (German/English). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act (TTDSG) (technically required). No consent is needed for this cookie.

Web Analytics (Umami)

This website uses Umami, a self-hosted, open-source web analytics service (server: analytics.tariwiencke.de). Umami does not set cookies and does not collect personally identifying data. IP addresses are not stored; they are used only briefly to derive an approximate location (country) and are then discarded. Individual visitors are not tracked across sessions; only anonymized, aggregated statistics are generated (e.g. pages viewed, time spent, approximate country of origin, device and browser used). All data processing takes place on our own servers, and no data is transferred to third parties.

Because no personal data is stored, no consent is required under § 25(2) No. 2 TTDSG. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reach-related analysis and improvement of the site).

Server Log Files

When you access this website, the web server automatically stores the following data in server log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of the request
• Name and URL of the file requested
• Browser and operating system used
• HTTP status code

If you use the contact form on this website, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is sent to me by email and used exclusively to process your inquiry. Form data is not stored on this website’s servers. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). Data is not shared with third parties and is deleted once your inquiry has been resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply.
